Teva | Outdoor Brand Storytelling
Rediscovering
my inner child.
A story about childhood memories, muddy trails and finding the freedom to play outside all over again. Created in collaboration with Teva.
Some things never leave you.
I first knew Teva as a child. On family holidays to France and Spain, my Tevas went everywhere with me. I could walk for kilometres, splash through water and spend the whole day exploring without giving my shoes a second thought.
Years later, I realised something: growing up often means finding your way back to the things you loved as a kid. For me, that's running through forests, climbing trees, getting muddy and feeling completely free outside.
Discovering Teva's hiking footwear brought those memories into the adventures I share today. It felt like the perfect opportunity to tell a story about reconnecting with my inner child.
“Nature is the one place where I truly feel at home, no matter where I am.”
Real adventures. Real stories.
Rather than creating a story around a product alone, I wanted to show what being outdoors actually feels like: noticing little details, taking the winding paths and enjoying the freedom to get a little muddy.
The adventure in motion.

This 8.03 km walk near Epe takes you along winding forest paths towards Boscafé Floor. A lovely reminder that you don't have to travel far to find an adventure worth remembering.
Made for the muddy moments.
Autumn in the Netherlands is unpredictable, and the days before this walk had been rainy. That meant puddles and muddy stretches along the way.
Wearing the Teva Hurricane Trailsetter Mid GORE-TEX meant I could focus on exploring rather than worrying about wet feet. And that's what I want from outdoor footwear: the freedom to just go.
One of my favourite moments was climbing an observation tower with my young dog for the first time. We also visited a forest café together for the first time. Those little firsts are often the memories that stay with me.
Let's tell your story next.
